JOSH MILSTEINHi!! My name is Josh Milstein and I am a second-year from Manhattan studying Political Science and Math. Some of my favorite hobbies include working tirelessly day and night to tear down the anti-singing establishment, amusingly failing to preregister for classes, and convincing myself that I will be productive if I try to work in Hillel. I took two gap years in Israel, one as an American in Orayta and then as an aspiring Israeli at Yishivat Otniel. I’m incredibly excited to be working with such a committed and talented group of people!!! Contact me here!
KIRA POLLARDHi! My name is Kira I am a first-year double majoring in Economics and Media Arts & Design. I am from New Jersey but I am also from South Africa so it might be hard to understand me at times (kidding, that’s because I laugh a lot). Despite being Yavneh’s Social Shabbos chair, my favourite game is chess and I really like weekdays. I am excited to join the board in an official capacity this time! If you ever need peanut butter or a banana, contact me here!
FINLEY HOROWITZHey! I’m Finley and I’m a first year studying biology and maybe computer science. When I’m not “communicating like nobody’s business” (in the words of President Milstein), I’m probably in lab or pestering Koby with questions about being pre-med. With any time I have left, I love hiking, running, reading, and spending time with my family. My biggest accomplishment at UChicago so far was being named MVP of the Yavneh Broomball team. JOEY ROSENFELDHi, my name is Joey Rosenfeld, and I’m a first year majoring in Econ and Gabbai Rishon. Between my time on the couch on the second floor of Hillel and in the Beis upstairs, I don’t have much leftover time to go draw some flow charts in the A level of the Reg. I like to go running (though it’s harder to motivate myself in the winter) and schmoozing with chevra, particularly when talking in learning. Contact me here!

LEIA GLUCKMANHi! I’m Leia (yes, like the princess), a third-year majoring in Law, Letters, and Society and a rising BA/MA student from Los Angeles, CA. When I’m not at Hillel, you can find me running around campus convincing various department heads to aid me in my mission to graduate as early as possible and with as many letters after my name as the College is willing to grant me. If you’re interested in life advice or need help from someone who doesn’t know how to say no, you can contact me here.
ALEX WEISSI'm Alex, I'm a third-year studying mathematics and economics from Millburn, NJ (or as my friends know it, one-town-over from Livingston). I enjoy biking, swimming, and cooking for my friends, sometimes even when my roommates don't want to host. My pastimes include falling asleep on my couch while failing to make it through the third movie of the night. As this is my second year on the board, I'm excited to criticize/improve the decisions of the other Yavneh board members. You can contact me here!
JAKE WOLFHey! I’m Jake and I'm a first-year studying Economics and Computer Science from White Plains, New York. When I’m not working tirelessly marking sure this community is doing its part to make it into olam haba, I enjoy spending time outdoors, and traveling the world. Last summer, I climbed Mt. Vesuvius and the leaning tower of Pisa in the same day! I’m incredibly honored and excited to carry on the legacy of our amazing Torah chairs past, and if you are having trouble deciding what mishmar topic is right for you, or where to eat in Israel, click here!
KOBY ROSENThe Once and Future Gabbai is back on the Yavneh board for a second term! I am a 3rd year neuroscience major interested in medicine. Outside of class, I hobnob with Hobbes hobbyists on the Philosophy Review and make references with limited relevance to the current conversation. Contact me here!
