Housing & Dining
The College has a two-year campus housing requirement. Because of this, Yavneh students generally live in dorms and eat in dining halls for their first two years, and then move into off-campus apartments, living together and keeping kosher kitchens.
While in the dorms, housing provides Shabbat keys, and hot kosher food is available in all four dining halls. Additionally, third- and fourth-years frequently host community events in their apartments.

The Hyde Park Eruv
Yavneh of Hyde Park benefits from the South Side Eruv, which extends from 67th St. to 43rd St. between Rock Island Metra tracks and Lake Park Avenue (or IC Metra, if south of Midway).
